о прозвищахЦан Some fans would call 蒼 as 葱花, which is what we call scallion cut into segments. The first letter stands for scallions in Chinese, and 花 is flower. This is because the pronunciation of 蒼 in Taiwanese sounds like 葱 in standard speech.
Су, Тань Expect 白蓮 and 素素, 饼哥/大饼 are also nicknames for 素還真, because in earlier series his face is round)) Correspondingly, 小餅 (biscuits or cookie in chinese) is the nickname of 素續緣. And since 談無慾 is the 月才子, fangirls usually call the relationship 談無慾/素還真 as 月餅(moon pie). But lately some people pointed that, they don’t this nickname for 素, because it looks like kinda of bodyshame or something…) Well I personally confess that I still love “moon pie”. Just so sweet🥺

Цзи У, Цзянь Чжичу And there’re some nicknames of seasons. For example, the title of s51 in Chinese is 枭皇论战(warlords’ debates and battles). Fans call it as 枭皇论妹(妹, younger sister), because lots of main characters love their sisters every much or even have some love affair with sisters , like 劍之初 to 戢武王/戢武王 to 禳命女/魔王子 to 寒煙翠/擎海潮 to 惜夫人⋯

Цзан Юньсяо Btw, fans like to call 葬雲霄 as husky, because he got these puppy eyes like husky. A cute nickname Xd

к вопросу о карликовых гунхуанах)))

Yes, it’s written in official fan book. I’m also surprised to know this…Can’t imagine that 君权神授 would be a dwarf formerly XDD I mean, he looks like a show-girl at Victoria’s Secret now)) The article says sometimes 燹王 acts more like a jokey adolescent, so the writer needed 君权神授 to be a more serious and reliable character.
о заразе и потери памяти Су

Ah-ha, that's a very funny part. Actually 素 did not оnly lose his memory, but also his wisdom was influenced. He was not able to stay conscious all the time. Sometimes he can't tell what's his name and recognise the way to home.
Speaking of the motivion, 君权神授 claimed that a smart guy, like 素还真, is obviously a threathen to their conquests in 苦境. Later, it turned out this country, called 彩绿险墈, in fact was never eager for invasions or expanding their areas. But at that time they were оn an energy crisis. The green fungus, which was put in the head of 素, were supposed to be the way to solve this resource problem: if they finally grew up, then they can make the energy source revived.
The crystals оn the picture are the source of energy in this country.
»в современном китайском языке говорят о себе "я" - 我, а 吾 - это устаревшая форма.
That’s right. But in pili series this two pronouns are often not strictly discriminated. оne character may sometimes use “吾”, sometimes use “我”.
A king or queen may use “孤” to call himself, for example, 金瓯无缺. It means “the lonely оne”, because the kings of ancient China thought, that with more power comes more loneliness.
素还真 prefers to call himself as “劣者”, which means “the imperfect”. It’s about his attitude to his achievements and abilities, like in poem he describes himself as half~god. He’s a very modest guy. And genuine humility is оne of important virtues in ancient China. But it seems like nowadays eastern Asian guys would like to get rid of this stereotype))
о красной семерке Хунмянь
As for 挽风曲, he did the same trick, as what 千玉屑 did: copy оne's looks, imitate оne's character, and finally take place of that victim. So his aim is to kill 玄同, and lived as 玄同. This trick was called 夺舍 by them. In organization called 红冕七元, every оne is capable to do things like those.
об имени гунхуана
I'd say 君权神授 is a very weird name. Firstly, a name consisted of 4 characters is unpopular in real life. And his name is actually a term frequently used in papers about monarchy.
О Сюаньтуне, Си И и кольце.
玄同 is a guy оnly cares about swords, he doesn't like to rule a country or be treated as "your majesty". So he always wanted to hand this ring back. But 赩翼蒼鸆 warned him, if he gives the ring to an ambitious schemer, this action may lead to wars. Also, in the process of imitation, 赩翼蒼鸆 found he kind of appreciated the way how 玄同 thinks and does. I think, 赩翼蒼鸆 would like to stay with him and figure out the true ego of himself, so 赩翼蒼鸆 didn't want the ring, as a connection between them, to be gone. And, 赩翼蒼鸆 must be influenced by 玄同, he now is completely indifferent to throne.

»И как кольцо оказалось в 魔罗天章? Я думала, оно у 鬼方赤命 ^^"
Seemly, it is not told in series. All we saw is 赤命 came to 黑海森狱 for that meeting, then he was missing. His colleague came to found him. When he was rescued, the ring was already not оn his finger.

He never hates 赩翼蒼鸆. If you're a swordsman, then all things become easy for 玄同: he can quickly get to know a swordsman, because people would like, but swords always tell him truth. Listening to the sound of swords, he knew 赩翼蒼鸆 was actually not a badass.
О цвете Люхо:

“苍” here is the old name of dark blue. In the very, very ancient time, in China every dark color was called as “玄”, including the dark blue. So I guess that’s why you found the “black dragon” translation.

О красной семерке

The 28 mansions of sky(星宿) is quite frequently seen in Pili fandom. For example, in the names of characters who belong to organization 红冕七元. (鬼、箕、翼、虚、氐、奎、毕)
Btw, as you can see, another feature of their name is they all have the same hieroglyph “赤”. And those name, really hard to pronounce, and even very hard to type!!)
Про Су и Байляня, и Коясу)
Actually, 白莲 never confessed himself as 素还真 so far. And his official bio says, he’s a original character of TBF, but based оn 素还真. But the thing is he has the special eyebrows, and he calls himself the same way 素 does. And urobuchi said оnce he would definitely оnly let Koyasu to be the voice actor of 素. So I guess we can say 白莲 is definitely a fan-made 素还真, not a canon оne temporarily?))) Well, of course most of Chinese fans think he’s 素还真.

Several years ago, the movie 圣石传说 released in Japan. And Koyasu was the voice actor of 素. For some Japanese fans, this is the first time they heard about pili, and Koyasu's voice became the voice of 素 in their memory.
о Чи Мине, Фэнсуне и опере

It's оne of the action often seen in Beijing opera. In the acting system of Beijing opera, to express some feeling, actors need to perform in a specific way, their movements are supposed to be same.
赤命 and his friend 赑风隼 reminds me of the main character of the movie 霸王别姬. They are all devoted to Beijing opera.) 赤命 and 赑风隼 performed the same play like hundreds times, which tells a story about two friends turning into enemies. In the story, a pair of friends fought together against a dangerous evil dragon. Due to the friendship and support between them, they finally killed the dragon and saved people from this monster. But after that this two men found that they both wanted to became a real king. So they turned to enemies before the throne, wishing each other just die away.
Про хвосты Хайтан
I didn't find any official explanation, so here's my guess: it's a part of the design. 君海棠 is a sexy and dangerous woman, accustomed to make all men become her slaves, using her beauty and lies. In our culture, it is believed that female fox would transform into evil beautiful women like her, then they would seduce men and kill them. As far as I know, it's also often seen in Japanese culture. So fox is kind of a symbol for this type of women.
