At the beginning of Heaven and Earth, when Earth was first separared from Heaven, mermaids were also born alongside humans. Humans reproduced and spread across the land. And the mermaids ruled the water like fish. The two co-existed and multiplied side by side for generations. The peace between the two groups was maintained for thousands of yers.

Until a merman met that… human girl who was destined to appear in his life.

But the cross species love was not blessed by the heavens. Instead, it pulled the humans and mermaids into the midst of bloody battle.

They asked the ocean, how can they fix the hatred between the two tribes? How could they be together?

The sae waves surged and that sound seemingly was saying, “Sincerity.”

Under the moonlight, the god of death lifted his sword in preparation to take the man’s life.

The man asked, “How can I avoid death?”

The god of death said, “Find a girl. As long as she willing to give up her life and gives you her spirit, then you can live оn.”

Then man asked, “How can I make a young woman give up her life and give me her spirit?”

The god of death said, “As long as you obtain her heart and make her fall in love with you.”

Tne man asked, “How can I obtain her heart?”

The god of death said, with a little smile, “It’s very simple. Give your heart in exchange for hers.”
